Clive Oseman

Clive Oseman is an internationally renowned multi slam winning spoken word artist, humourist, storyteller, satirist, workshop facilitator and promoter with a liking for the surreal-absurd from Birmingham, currently based in Swindon in Wiltshire. He has featured on the Blackbird stage at the New York City poetry festival on Governors Island, the 5C conference centre in Manhattan, Good Company bookstore in Lisbon (with Nayma Chamchoun) and around the UK at spoken word events and on the spoken work stage of music festivals. His one man show, “What if they laugh at me? Was performed in cities and towns around the country in 2023/24. He is co-founder and co-host of Saboteur short listed event Oooh Beehive and a regular co host of The Cheltenham Poetry festival poetry slam. His fifth collection “Dig This and Smile” was published in September 2025. His fourth collection, Musical Hamsters and Much Bigger Issues (2024), made the Amazon best seller list in the “Humorous essays” category.  In pre-performance days he was an international award-winning writer of Japanese short form poetry
